Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released a series of raps. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. Apart from classical music and jazz, the young Nora started to study hip-hop during her teens. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies, and was learning Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. Not until after graduation did she start focusing on music. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. On the album, there also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The latter track connected directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in 2015. A musician and author was in her portfolio, she decided to began looking for a third endeavor actor. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors as well as Storks. In 2018, she landed a number of breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
