Patricia Apollonia Kotero, an American singer and actress is a former model. She is best known as the star of the 1984 Prince Purple Rain film and lead singer in the girl-group Apollonia 6 Apollonia was a performer/singer born to Prince in 1984, became one of the female artists of the 1980s that benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero, born 1959 in Santa Monica California began her career as a model and actress. in the latter half of the 1970s, she appeared on CHiPS. The show's lead actress was of Prince's Purple Rain in 1984 (at which point he had changed his name). At the time of that year, she was replaced by Vanity as a member of the group Vanity 6 and performed with the group under the brand name Apollonia 6 in the film.
