Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's cooking offers a chance to discover the possibilities within her. Her food inspires curiosity. This was the result when she left the Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally diverse scene in Los Angeles. Her belief that cavatelli and carnitas are able to coexist in harmony on a single menu portrays a style that evolves constantly. With every dish she serves, she has a vision that is distinct and speaks to nostalgia for the historical. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in 2013. She opened it due to her heritage as an Italian-American. The restaurant's version of traditional Italian food is among Los Angeles's most popular restaurants. Lofaso has been praised as a neighborhood favorite who consistently delivers dishes that are authentic, tasty and warm. Lofaso studied from chefs who employed sophisticated methods. However, she was not afraid to take huge risk to follow her instincts. She rose quickly through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to make a difference in the kitchens of famous chefs of Los Angeles while working closely with a variety of famous celebrities. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. The home of Lofaso was located within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business partnerships. Lofaso would find the freedom to be creative that she longed for through this partnership. Black Market doesn't have one specific focus. That is their intention. One course may begin with chipped potatoes and peppers with some dill. This could be followed by Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia is the linchpin of this dizzying variety. Lofaso evaluated her career success by her capacity to both understand and be authentic to her audiences. The memorable appearances in Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showed her unique personality in the cooking area. The talents of Lofaso are evident in her recurring roles as a CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge, and on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as the ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Simple and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of her challenges when she was a student at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea, as well. Lofaso believes that her success is due to her passion cooking, and she's capable of keeping her finger in the middle of this field by staying on the kitchen. Chefletics transforms the way chefs dress by blending style with function. The most important thing to Lofaso is adhering to the vision you have set. With this intention she is launching Antonia Lofaso Catering, which offers a more customized approach to providing clients with an experience that is uniquely personal.
