Anamaria is a Romanian actor. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. Can speak French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her mother was a violinist The father of her is a theatre professor at one of the best Romanian theater schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award in the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. She was crowned European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. Additionally, she was the child character in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in the BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role of Yasim Anwar in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, as well as on the Romanian film Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014), she appeared as Irma the German woman who was Emma's aunt.
