Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job following school was that of an agent for real estate. Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband, also worked in this industry. They enjoyed a lot of growth until 2008's market crash which saw many real-estate investors and homeowners who were flippers fail. Tarek El Moussa was nearly wiped out by the 2008 crash. They moved from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 for a month to a smaller home that cost just $700. The business grew slowly as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011, asked a person to aid him in making an HGTV tape showing Christina and him flipping the house from start until the very end. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. They were thrilled to Tarek, Christina and their tale. The agreement was agreed by the couple and HGTV. The show "Flip of Flop" was launched on April 13, 2013. The show aired 92 seasons between 2013 until the year 2017. The show featured Christina and Tarek purchasing homes located in Orange County. They would spend weeks upgrading the houses to be able to sell them for profit. Tarek's main focus is demolition and renovating, while Christina concentrates on design.
