Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse as well as Tom Bell - a television director. She's an American actor and singer. She is the daughter of a Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents in the entertainment industry at a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper ads. At this time Bell also started private acting lessons. Bell was in a role of minor importance that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy in the school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon the completion of her studies. Bell left the university in 2001 and began playing the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene was cut and only the credits display her. Bell made an appearance on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
