Najarra was just three years old when she figured out what she wanted from life. She started modeling and act in stage plays in the community she lived in. All through her childhood and teen years, Najarra was a major participant in theatre and musical productions. In the movie "Menace", she co-starred in the film at age 10. Najarra is internationally acclaimed for her part in "Me and You and Everyone We are" that won Sundance and Cannes Awards in 2005. The actress has appeared as the title character in numerous films which include: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" and has appeared in various other indie favorites.
