
Amanda Louise Holden was born on February 16, 1971. She is an English media personality, actress and singer. Since 2007 she has been a judge for Britain's Got Talent television talent competition on ITV. She also hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her growing up in Bishop's Waltham. At nine, she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden is also a part of TV credits including three series featuring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham on the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes on ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield, and a special Agatha Christie episode "4.50 from Paddington" for Boxing Day. He co-starred with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Along with Alesha Dixon David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent from 2006 to 2006.
